Review of CSI Vegas Series 7
Dreadful start to the new series. First two episodes of multi-parter all over the place. Multiple plot-lines but little interest.

I think I've watched every episode of CSI and whilst I'll never claim it is classic TV, it is usually good entertainment. The Tarantino episodes were obviously a zenith for them.
I've also had a soft spot for the Miami off-shoot despite the horrendous acting and even worse writing. However the recent "triplets" episode was a shark jump for them and it needs to be cancelled asap.
NY has never held any interest for me. Starting with the worst Who title music of all three, it is just dour and lifeless. Sinise has zero charisma and the plots just stagger along.
Series 7 of the original started two weeks ago over here and it is in the same boat of mediocrity as the other two. They aimed high trying to run multiple plot-lines which dovetail but it just came out as a disorganised mish-mash of not very interesting stories.
I also object to the way they have protrayed Willows in recent times as some sort of drunken hussey who gets what she deserves. This puritanical nonsense has no place in a series set in Vegas.
I'll probably stick with CSI for the entire run but it's no longer something I look forward to.
